Double-standards about press freedom

The UK journalist Graham Phillips has been detained in Eastern Ukraine by security forces loyal to Kiev. RT, for whom he was working as a stringer, has lost contact with him.

The Foreign Office has issued a weak statement about “standing by” to help him. That is, of course, if he is allowed to contact them. There has been no outrage, no condemnation from any other branch of government. The UK media has been entirely silent.
