Calling for political killings

I was slightly surprised to see the Guardian apparently celebrating the assassination of US political activist Charlie Kirk. Perhaps they aren’t openly endorsing his murder 100%, but they, that is the US wing, which is run by hard core cult liberals, are publishing articles about the murdered man saying how ‘virulent‘ he was, what a ‘bigot’ he was. They don’t exactly use the phrase “he had it coming”, but it is pretty darn close. (By ‘bigot’ and ‘far right’, they, of course mean he held conservative views and believed in less immigration). There are several articles of this type; character assassination of the recently assassinated. There was a time when this would have been simply impossible. Common decency would have prevented it.

There was also an article, presented as “analysis”, before the alleged killer was located, which proclaimed: “Trump blamed ‘radical left’ for Charlie Kirk’s death – even as shooter’s identity remains unknown” [1] Well; a leading political activist was murdered, while speaking at a political event, by someone with a high-powered rifle. It doesn’t seem unreasonable to suppose that this was a politically motived assassination, and, if so, it was likely to have been from the ‘other side’. But, the liberal cultists are operating on knee-jerk reflexes and just automatically have to deny this. (It turns out that there is, hardly surprisingly, some kind of political motivation; bullets found at the scene contained politically inspired “anti-fascist” engravings, for example).

This rush to deny a link, to protect their cult, coupled with the near celebration of the murder is all rather odious. It is more evidence of where this liberal cult is headed, and it is nowhere good.
