The prioritisation of Jewish interests in the UK

In the context of the US’s (and UK’s, of course, despite the ridiculous claims about ‘defensive actions’), war on Iran, almost certainly brought about by a controlled Israeli intelligence operation on Trump, the question of the routine prioritisaton of Jewish interests in the UK comes to light.

Let’s not ask whether Muslims would be allowed to run their own “Community Security” companies.

But, consider this article in the Guardian, as an example of what I mean by ‘over-prioritisation’. The article is based on claims that Jewish people in the UK are feeling increasingly vulnerable and under siege. What strikes me straight off is how this trend is said to date “from the October 7 attack”; the subheading is “Antisemitism has been rising in years since 7 October attacks, including recent arson attacks at Jewish sites”. It is, and this is a very, very common propaganda technique, which this site frequently comments on, only until half way down the article that we find even the partly ‘objective’: “Antisemitic incidents in the UK have increased significantly since the 7 October attacks and Israel’s war in Gaza,” – that is ‘war on Gaza’ not ‘genocide’ – despite the UN’s Highest Court issuing a pre-emptive warning to Israel [1], a UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry issuing a finding of genocide [2], multiple leading NGOs [3], including Israeli ones [4], having said as much – and its leader being wanted for war crimes by the ICC. [5]

Let’s be objective. Is the rise in antisemitic attacks in the UK the result of Hamas’s attack of 7 October, awful though that was, or Israel’s war crimes on an industrial scale/genocide in Gaza, (not to mention the ongoing crimes in the West Bank where Israel maintains and increases its illegal occupation)? Obviously, the latter. So – when the Guardian tries to suppress this line of thinking, this connection, we see incredible ‘bias’ at work. They want to bury the connection between Israel’s war crimes and antisemiticism in the UK. Because they don’t want to talk about Israel’s war crimes – let alone address the throny problem for how much support for Israel’s violation of international laws there might be in the UK’s Jewish community, (Odd, again, since it is entirely acceptable to openly discuss issues around support for extemism in the Muslim commuity).

Personally, I think it is very stupid to transfer your opposition to Israel’s cruelties and (increasingly resembling) apartheid regime to Jewish people in general. But, I am here simply observing how the ‘establishment’ prioritises Jewish interests by aligning with a narrative that believes you can commit genocide/massive war crimes, without risking some sort of “blow-back”, even if unfairly targetted.

Another small detail in this article:

Bloom, who wears a star of David necklace, said he decided to take it off during a recent doctor’s appointment to look into a mole on his back. “I was scared that the doctor would tell me there was nothing wrong when there was,” he said.

Bloom is a Jewish community leader in Manchester. This seems to me to be very weird; to consider that there is a high risk that a doctor would cause you to, for example, die of cancer, on account of your membership of an ethnic and relgious group. What is Mr Bloom’s perception of, (presumably), non-Jewish doctors? That they are all out to kill him? Doctors? This odd perception is not questioned at all by the journalist.

This article is just one of countless examples – how the Jewish party is pandered to. It is odd. Odd, because, in reality, there is nothing ‘antisemitic’ in, for example, linking the rise in antisemitic incidents to Israel’s actions, as an observation not a justification I find myself having to add, or questioning whether a Jewish person who suspects his doctor of being ready to deliberately misdiagnose him to do him harm, is being entirely rational.

More seriously – just on the wider point. If you read the international press, every day, we see new war crimes and humanitarian violations by Israel – horrific mass civilian casualty events as they try to blow up members of Hezbollah and Hamas, even civilian members, at home in their apartment buildings, attacks on ambulances, children shot dead for throwing stones, children abused and mocked as they try to go to school and find their way illegally blocked, [6] killings of policemen, water truck drivers, [7] deliberate starvation policies, routine violations of “ceasefires”. It goes on and on. And, any response from our leaders? No. They are still stuck in the “very concerned” stage – where they have been for years, no matter what Israel does. it goes without saying that if any other country did even a tenth of this the protests, calls for sanctions, maybe even calls for “humanitarian interventions” would be deafening. Odd.
