I’m posting this for three reasons. Firstly; it is refreshing to see the Covid industry being exposed and secondly because it is always pleasant to see Rand Paul speaking truth to power.
But the other reason is that this is an example of a discourse which is critical of the official government-corporate being broadcast on mainstream media. This seems to happen more in the US than the UK. It counters Chomsky’s view that the media is totally owned by the government-corporate world. There is scope within the mainstream media for ‘independent’ reporting. It is not inevitable that the media broadcasts the official government-corporate line.
