Poor decisions

You have to love liberal journalists. This is an article about Hunter Biden, the President’s son, who is facing charges of having lied on an application for a firearm and tax evasion. There is also the possibility of an investigation into his business dealings and possible corruption – the essential allegation (by Republicans) is that he was selling access to his father, then Vice-President.

The liberal media line is essentially to avoid mentioning the second matter at all or if they do – very cursorily and always adding the line that there is no connection to Biden senior. The WP says:

The ultimate charges had little to do with Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals in countries like Ukraine and China, instead involving poor decisions on taxes and guns. They also had no connection to his father.

It is the “poor decisions” I love. Do ordinary people get to have their crimes excused as “poor decisions”? In fact, they probably do if they belong to a special interest group whom the Democrats are mobilising for electoral reasons, but otherwise not. I don’t think the liberal media is characterising Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified information as a “poor decision”.

The partisanship is so shameless.
